LiftMaster MyQ technology is a secure way to let your children in the house without keys and remotes to keep track of. Need to let the repair man or family and friends in while you’re away from your home? MyQ technology will allow you to let them in.  You will also receive alerts so you know they closed the garage door and gate when they left. Alerts can be received as email or pop up notifications on your mobile device, tablet and computer.

LiftMaster MyQ technology also offers a remote light control to keep your house safe when you are away. If you don’t like coming home to a dark house, just go to the MyQ app, click on the light control and have your lights on before you even get out of the car. Don’t spend your vacation wondering if you left the lights on anymore. A quick glance at your smart phone. tablet or computer and you can feel at ease. MyQ technology can also connect to some video cameras and thermostats.

You can upgrade your existing MyQ garage door opener with one of these three products. If your garage door opener has the MyQ logo on it, then get connected with the MyQ Internet Gateway. If you have a LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears/Craftsman or Raynor garage door opener built after 1998 without the MyQ logo then you will need the LiftMaster MyQPCK Wifi set. If you have another brand of opener you can still get connected to the LiftMaster MyQ technology using the 821LM Universal remote.
