Is it easy to install?
The MyQ Home Bridge comes in a kit with everything you will need including the bridge itself, the mounting bracket and hardware. All you need to provide is a drill, screw driver and a ladder! It takes about 30 minutes to install from start to finish, including set up in the app. Most garage door openers are mounted on the ceiling near an outlet plate with 2 receptacles. One will be used for the garage door opener itself and the other can be used for the MyQ Home Bridge. Once the device is mounted, be sure you have a strong WiFi signal with at least 2 bars showing on your chosen WiFi channel. Next, download the LiftMaster MyQ app (or Chamberlain or Raynor depending on the type of opener you have) on your iPhone, iPad or other Apple device.
